    • I am shocked with squads announced for women! There is obviously no communication between U21 coaches/selectors, U18 and senior because there are girls that can’t make SA U21 that have been included in squads and girls that were in SA U21 been left out altogether. There are girls that can’t make SA U18 but are in SENIOR WOMENS squad ! There is no consistency. If we want girls to perform professionally, then it needs to start with selection. Everyone is talking and laughing about these squads and saying, what a joke!

    • BRING BACK LAST YEARS SELECTION PANEL

    • Not sure who Toppie is talking about, perhaps he should contact SAHA and talk specifics. Not making an SA team at junior level means nothing, because you did not make SA under 18, why should that exclude you from making Senior squads.

In all sports selections there will be differences of opinion and hockey is no different.

    • I am very dissapointed with the squads announced! There are players who NEVER PLAYED in the Senior Womens IPT 2009, who made the squads. The WP team which ended 5th in the IPT, has 13 players in the Spar Squad!! When will the selectors ever consider other dedicated good players? I don’t blame sportsman/women going abroad to play hockey in other countries.

    • There are some that could not make there Provincial teams !!!

    • Bring back Liesel Dorothy. She played superbly!

    • hi,this is very good site about sports.i’ll be very happy if you bring back Liesel Dorothy…..please bring back her..she is fantastic player and playes very well.
